SEPI purchases 20.1% of Indra to Grupo BFA-Bankia

The state-owned industrial holding company Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI) purchased this afternoon to the banking Grupo BFA-Bankia a significant shareholding participation of 20.1% in the electronics company INDRA for 336.99 M€.
The deal was implemented within the framework of the reorganization plan of Grupo BFA-Bankia 2012-2017 regarding the non-core assets and which was agreed with the European Commission, the Kingdom of Spain and Grupo BFA-Bankia, issued in application of the Decision of the EU Council on July 23rd, 2012 and the EU Decision on June 27th, 2012.
SEPI’s entry into the shareholding of Indra seeks to preserve the shareholding stability in a company which constitutes one of the pillars of Spain’s technological basis and international presence.
SEPI’s participation in Indra is focused on collaborating in maintaining the industrial project of a company with a large investment and innovation capacity.
