CORREOS takes part in Logistics 2014
CORREOS takes part in the fourth series of Logistics Madrid 2014, which will be held on November 5th and 6th, at IFEMA’s pavilion no. 12, through the submission of a paper and its presence in a roundtable.
Logistics Madrid brings together the professionals from the storage, maintenance, and logistics world. Last year it was a complete success, since the stands occupation reached 100%, and the number of visitors exceeded 5,600 persons. This year it will have the participation of a total of 120 companies and a new area dedicated to Smart Cities. This time three conference rooms and workshops have been set aside, at which will take place a number of speeches, as well as presentations about the latest novelties regarding storage, maintenance and logistics.
The conferences are organized in two specific forums, one for each of the two days of the event; the first will be the e-commerce forum, while during the second day will take place the forum on internationalization.
As in previous years, professionals will be able to interact with the latest advances in machinery and technology, thanks to the two practical and dynamic areas in the Exhibition. On the one hand, the ICIL Showroom, with daily exhibitions of machinery; and on the other, the Third Technological Forum which makes possible for visitors to have a direct contact with the Technology and Robotics.
Innovation in the logistics industry
On November 5th, from 5:20 pm to 6:00 pm, CORREOS will be represented by Mr. Santiago Cantalapiedra, Ecommerce & Digital Product Manager at CORREOS, in a round table, within the part “e-Commerce Forum”, together with Mr. Nicolas Mouze Director of MKT at DHL and Mr. Juan Sandes, CEO at Celeritas. The round table will be chaired by Mr. Juan Carlos Lozano, CEO at Dir&ge, and will focus on “The commitment with innovation by the Logistics industry”.
And on November 6th, at the Sala Palibex, from 1:00 am to 1:30 pm, the Deputy Director for Innovation at CORREOS, Mr. Jordi Escruela, will give a speech explaining how a big company such as CORREOS makes its consumers fall in love with it.

CORREOS has launched Comandia, the most comprehensive e-commerce solution on the market for taking care of the requirements of the Small-and-Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs), self-employed workers, and entrepreneurs.
