The work performed by Fundación SEPI
Fundación SEPI was created on March 10th, 1964, by the then Instituto Nacional de Industria (INI), under the name of Fundación Santa María del Espíritu Santo. Latter it changed its name for Fundación del INI, Fundación Empresa Pública, and finally for its current one, Fundación SEPI, in order to reflect its being under the control of the state-owned industrial holding company Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI), which is the successor of INI.
Fundación SEPI manages and develops a wide-ranging training program for the employees and managers from the companies of Grupo SEPI, as well as a scholarship program for integration into the labor market, it develops the Survey on Corporate Strategies (Encuesta sobre Estrategias Empresariales in Spanish), and maintains a research program on applied economics.
ONCE’s daily ticket offers, for 1.5 Euros, 55 prizes, each for the amount of 35,000 €, for getting five figures right. Besides, it offers the possibility – for an extra 0.5 € - of betting on the series, and thus winning the “Salary”, which amounts to 3,000 € per month during 25 years, which is added to the 35,000 € prize.
On March 10th, the Fundación celebrated at the Campus Los Peñascales its 50th anniversary with an academic ceremony 50. During this event, CORREOS presented one commemorative stamp, from the philatelic series “Efemérides”.
