SEPI is committed with equal treatment and equal opportunities for women and men
The principle of equal treatment and equal opportunity for women and men is part of SEPI’s values for fulfilling its goals, as a key element of the principles which preside over the progression of Society.
SEPI respects and promotes this principle through active policies in all the spheres of its activities in human resources and internal communications, through policies aimed at promoting a practical implementation, the personal and professional development of all its workers, women and men, and the conciliation of family, personal and work life.
These policies have been translated into an Equal Treatment Plan, prepared in collaboration with the workers’ representatives in SEPI, which reflects the goals and the specific actions which result from the equal treatment policy and its general management procedure.
Grupo SEPI is a corporate holding which includes a total of 16 companies state-owned companies in which it has direct, majority shareholding participations, with a workforce of more than 75,000 professionals in 2012; it also includes the Spanish state-owned television and radio corporation, Corporación Radiotelevisión Española, which is attached to SEPI, and one public foundation. Equally, SEPI has direct minority shareholdings in a further nine companies, and indirect shareholdings in more than one hundred companies.
