CEIDEN’s Managing Board meets at se Zorita
The members of the Consejo Gestor de la Plataforma de Energía Nuclear de Fisión (Managing Board for the Fission Nuclear Energy Platform, or CEIDEN in Spanish) held their 21st meeting at the facilities of the nuclear power station 'José Cabrera' (Guadalajara), which is managed by ENRESA and which is currently being dismantled.
After the meeting, the group paid a visit to the works which are being performed and to the facility’s different areas, among them the containing room, the place on which currently the containers are loaded with the special waste coming from the reactor’s internal parts and components.
CEIDEN was established in 2007 with the goal of coordinating the development of the R&D programs, both Spanish and internationals, some of which take place within the Zorita nuclear power station itself. This group, to which belongs Enresa, is made up by both electricity companies, engineering and construction firms, service companies and institutions, among others.
