INFORMATION ABOUT INDRA
The state-owned industrial holding company Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales (SEPI) purchased on August 2nd, 2013 from Grupo BFA-Bankia a significant shareholding participation of 20.1% in INDRA.
The deal took place within the framework of the Reorganization Plan of Grupo BFA-Bankia 2012-2017 regarding non-core assets and which was agreed among the European Commission, the Kingdom of Spain and Grupo BFA-Bankia, implementing the Decision of the EU Council on July 23rd, 2012 and the Decision of the EU Commission on June 27th, 2012.
SEPI’s entry into the shareholding structure of Indra seeks to preserve the shareholding stability of a company which constitutes one of the pillars of Spain’s technological basis and its international presence.
SEPI’s presence in Indra is focused on collaborating in the maintenance of the industrial project of a company with a large investment and innovation capacity.
