INFORMATION ABOUT ALIMENTOS Y ACEITES
Alimentos y Aceites S.A. is the company to which belonged, until their privatization in May 2002, Coosur and Olcesa, companies active in the olive oil and sunflower oil, respectively. After some years during which the sector has undergone a deep rationalization process, SEPI began the joint privatization of Coosur and Olcesa through a tender.
SEPI took the decision to sell its stake in Coosur (89.365%) and in Olcesa (100%) to the consortium leaded by Aceites del Sur, in which also participate the Andalusian cooperative oil sector, through JaénCoop, and the rural savings bank of Jaén, for an amount of 7.007 million euros.
