NAVANTIA begins the process for the incorporation of an affiliated company in Brazil in order to comply with the Brazilian defense law, thus opening up the door to its taking part in the big fleet renewal contracts envisaged for this country’s Navy during the following years. NAVANTIA has been working on setting up in Brazil for two years; during this time it has closed a comprehensive network of industrial alliances and bided in all the defense tenders made in that country.
NAVANTIA has signed today a collaboration agreement with SIMA, Servicios Industriales de la Marina, the shipyard owned by the Peruvian Navy. The goal is to develop the renovation and modernization of the Peruvian Navy’s fleet. Furthermore, the agreement facilitates considering SIMA as a strategic partner for other commercial opportunities which NAVANTIA might have in third countries.
NAVANTIA and Iberdrola have signed today the contract regarding the construction of the electrical substation for the Wikinger offshore wind park (Germany), which will be implemented in the following months. The scope of the contract includes the construction of two modules and their foundations (jacket) at the Puerto Real Shipyard, and the final connection (Hook-up) at the Baltic Sea.
CORREOS has presented the first “Tienda de Correos” (Correos’ Shop), which is located on street Orense no. 55 in Madrid. This new concept is created with the goal of improving the customers’ experience, with a customized treatment from the beginning, with more agile procedures and less paperwork. This new shopcalled “Tu Tienda Correos” seeks to be a sort of “laboratory” for testing products and services, and thus being able to change those on offer on the basis of the customers’ opinions and reception.
