SEPI has obtained the credentials as a 'Cardio Protected Place'.
The Spanish Society for Medicine and Safety at the Workplace (SEMST) requires the award of this certificate to be based on the control of a number of preventive items, and it is required to fulfill the following requirements:
In SEPI¿s case this collaboration agreement has been concluded with the Anek S3 company through the Life Preserver Project (Proyecto Salvavidas), a social initiative which seeks to raise the awareness of no-medical personnel about the importance of leading a healthier life, of the need of learning resuscitation and first-aid techniques, as well as of achieving a wider use of Semiautomatic External Defibrillators.
The Life Preserver Project has a popular focus, as it uses very direct images and systems in order to turn prevention and cardio protection into everyday issues, so that they become very easy to learn and use.
