Gender equality plans

For SEPI the training is a strategic element inside the development program and continuous improvement of its human resources.

Although SEPI is under no statutory obligation to have an Equal Employment Opportunity Plan as it has a workforce of less than 250 employees, it passed on November 2013 its own Plan, thus showing its commitment with the equal treatment of women and men. The Plan, which has begun to be applied in 2014, will be in force for an unlimited period of time, and it includes measures which cover all aspects of the working and employment terms and conditions.

All the companies belonging to Grupo SEPI with workforces with more than 250 employees have their own Gender Equality Action Plan. HUNOSA has concluded during the financial year 2016 its negotiations regarding its own Plan.

Mention must be made to ENSA, whose Gender Equality Action Plan - which has been in force since 2008- is among the 10 first to be passed at national level in Spain. It was the first state-owned enterprise to be chosen for taking part in the second series of the Symposium on Gender Equality organized by the Court of Auditors.

NAVANTIA's Gender Equality Action Plan has been in force since 2010. At Agencia EFE, CETARSA, CORREOS, ENRESA, ENUSA and TRAGSA their respective Gender Equality Action Plans began to be enforced in 2011. For its part, TRAGSATEC, an affiliated company of TRAGSA, passed its plan on March 2012.

All of them develop measures for promoting gender equality within different areas, such as recruitment, training, internal promotion, professional development, and work-family balance, as well as measures for preventing sexual harassment in the workplace.
