Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales is a state-owned holding which was incorporated by Act 5/1996 dated on January 10th, 1996 for the creation of a number of public law agencies, and which reports to the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations, as a result of the Royal Decree 256/2012, dated on January 27th, for the basic organization of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations.
